What is Modular Home Construction
In the simplest of terms a custom "site builder" hauls loads and loads of materials to his site, hires a dozen or so subcontractors, and assembles the building in place per the plans. Stratford uses basically the same materials and constructs the building inside the plant and then transports it to the site. The homes are constructed to the same building codes, and are required to get the same State Inspections as the job progresses - so it is not a different building, just a different way of constructing the same building. Naturally, we think this "different way" of construction has a number of advantages.
